Questions

Are these the real test questions?

No. ETS’s questions are confidential. Every question here is original, written to match the format and topics ETS describes in its ParaPro study companion, and checked before it was published.

Does this work for ParaPathways too?

Yes. ETS’s newer ParaPathways test has the same layout: 90 questions in reading, math and writing over 150 minutes, with about a third of each subject on classroom use. It splits into a reading and writing part and a math part that you can take separately, and its math part has a built-in calculator (source).

How is the real test set up?

According to ETS, the ParaPro has 90 multiple-choice questions in 150 minutes: about 30 each in reading, math and writing. About two-thirds of each subject tests basic skills, and about one-third tests applying them in the classroom (source).

What score do I need?

It depends on where you’ll work. Each state or school district sets its own qualifying score; ETS keeps the list (state requirements). Your practice score is a raw score, so it shows your weak spots but can’t predict your scaled score.

How do I get the tests after I pay?

Checkout redirects you straight to your tests. That page is your access link, so bookmark it. You’ll also get a receipt by email, and if you ever lose the link, email us and we’ll send it.

Can I use my phone?

Yes. The tests work on phones, tablets and computers.

Will this guarantee I pass?

No practice test can promise that, and we won’t. What it does is show you, at real pace, which skills cost you points, with a worked answer for each question.
